linesbym.art is a minimal, content-focused digital journal and portfolio designed to bridge the gap between digital web design and tactile, analog art. Built as a living digital space, it houses urban sketches, ink line studies, watercolor paintings, and art direction projects in a clean, archive-style layout.
The design prioritizes content visibility while reflecting the tactile, atmospheric nature of sketchbook art.
Monochrome & Minimal Palette: High-contrast neutral themes ensure colors from watercolors and fine-line inks take center stage without visual noise.
Light / Dark Mode: Custom themes tailored for viewing detailed line work in low-light environments.
Metadata-Rich Captions: Each artwork includes details on mediums, paper weight (e.g., 300g cotton paper), nib sizes, exact color pigments, and time tags—treating the digital gallery like a physical exhibition archive.
Personal Touches: Integrated live audio status (Spotify playback feed) and a detailed art supplies section to share the tools behind the sketches.
